Welcome to Rent Your Retro. By accessing our website, placing a booking, or renting equipment from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Purchase & Cancellation Policy, and Rental Agreement. These documents collectively govern your use of our services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Rent Your Retro provides short-term rental of vintage and retro-style cameras and related accessories for events, including but not limited to weddings.

All rentals are temporary. Ownership of all equipment remains with Rent Your Retro at all times.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place a booking and enter into a rental agreement. By booking, you represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

4. Booking & Payment
• All rentals must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Prices, fees, and rental terms are disclosed at checkout
• Rent Your Retro reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion

5. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations, refunds, and date changes are governed by our Purchase & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Shipping & Returns

Shipping timelines, delivery expectations, and return requirements are governed by our Shipping Policy, including but not limited to:
• Delivery approximately two (2) days before the event date
• Required return shipment within two (2) days after the event
• Late fees of $50 per day for delayed returns

Failure to comply may result in additional charges.

7. Equipment Responsibility

The renter assumes full responsibility for all rented equipment from the time of delivery until it is returned and confirmed received by Rent Your Retro.

The renter is liable for:
• Loss, theft, or disappearance
• Damage beyond normal wear
• Failure to return equipment

Replacement costs may be charged if equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair.

8. Use of Equipment & Prohibited Content

Rented equipment may not be used for:
• Illegal activities
• Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content
• Any activity that violates local, state, or federal law

Rent Your Retro reserves the right to withhold, delete, or refuse to return film or digital content if it contains nudity, sexual activity, or unlawful material.

9. Consent & Recording Laws

The renter is solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording, privacy, and consent laws, including two-party consent laws where applicable.

Rent Your Retro assumes no liability for misuse of equipment or unlawful recording by renters or event guests.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• Rent Your Retro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental

Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rent Your Retro from claims arising out of misuse of equipment or violation of these Terms.

11. Force Majeure

Rent Your Retro is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, weather events, shipping carrier delays, government actions, or emergencies.

All website content, branding, text, images, and materials are the property of Rent Your Retro and may not be copied or used without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services or access to our website if these Terms are violated.
